Even though the Golden Globes, and perhaps the Oscars, won't be going ahead quite as planned, there's still plenty of scuttle around the Irish film Once (see: Darwin's Film Club).
According to recent informal studies (mine) opinion is divided over whether Glen Hansard is (a) an arrogant, whiny, pretentious mediocrity or (b) a visionary, soulful, beacon of light in a dark world. As Sting says, no matter what you do 50% will hate it and 50% will love it–though achieving (and maintaining) a 98% rating on Rotten Tomatoes is a good indicator of public opinion.
I loved the song Falling Slowly when I watched the movie, it's all over the radio now, but at the time I couldn't find any You Tube clips. So here's one now.
