Snort this stuff, stay awake. Yay!

Not what you think.

Snorting a Brain Chemical Could Replace Sleep

I hate sleep. It takes up a lot of time and doesn't really give you anything back.

I think it was Plato who suggested that we should do one thing we hate every day, just to build character. In my case, I must be bursting with character, since I do two things I hate every single day: get up, and go to bed.

Studies show that one of the dumbest creatures on Earth sleeps 23 hours a day, so sleep isn't linked to the intelligent operation of the brain.

Similarly, since elephants who roll logs and lift trees with their trunks all day only need about half an hour of sleep, it isn't linked to physical tiredness.

The sooner we abolish sleep the better; I want that third of my life back.
